Members Contribute to latest IACC Meeting Room of the Future Survey

Almost as soon as the long awaited results were published for the first IACC Meeting Room of the Future report, the planning group have been working on the next phase of the survey which is due to be published this October.

The first report published in April (and downloadable from the IACC website here), provided many valuable insights into trends and predictions of what future meeting environments will look like and deliver to their users. We are delighted to report that the results of the first report were featured extensively by industry media globally.

The last report was compiled following the surveying of meeting planners around the world and this second survey seeks on the views and insights provided by conference and meeting venue operators and venue suppliers including architects, designers, technology providers and nutrition experts. IACC members have contributed significantly to this second survey, due to be released to co-inside with IMEX in Las Vegas this October.

Ellen Sinclair, Chair of the IACC Global Project Group commented “With the speed of change impacting the business of meetings today, the data collected in this second survey provide valuable insights into how venues and providers are shifting their approach to meeting design and delivery, pacing with meeting planner and delegate expectations.”

IACC would like to thank the following organisations for providing financial and professional services support to the 2016 IACC Meeting Room of the Future initiative:
